Karlsruhe is in transformation: the award-winning campaign (Red Dot, German Design Award, Iconic Award) used giant yellow lamps to spotlight Karlsruhe’s urban projects and invited citizens to see their city anew and experience urban planning as a shared, tangible journey.

An initiative by Stadt Karlsruhe with the agency raumkontakt, the campaign used four-meter yellow lamps to turn the city center into a stage and highlight urban projects over two years.

I created print media and helped shape a cross-channel concept. With #spotonka, citizens became co-creators, turning the lamps into viral city ambassadors.

The campaign sparked public imagination—the lamps became iconic symbols, widely shared on social media and embraced as the Highlight Innenstadt brand.
